Artists of November: Tangled Threads

Posted in People of Satin Moon tagged at 1:56 am by satinmoon

The Fabric Art Designs, or F.A.D., meet at Satin Moon once a month to share techniques to, nurture creative growth and to critique artworks of the members. The group began two years ago under the tutelage of designer and author Susan Purney Mark, and has developed into an independent group of peer artists.

Sunday was the opening of their second annual show and I am thrilled to see the diversity and personal growth among the members. My art teacher heart just gets all warm and fuzzy.

Because of our two art quilting groups, FAD and FAE , I have assembled an array of art quilting supplies that I will share with you on Thursday.
