Brenda Stengel, owner of the renowned Satin Moon Quilt Shop is an ardent promoter of creativity. For the past 35 years she has taught and pursued her passion in textiles (dyeing, quilting, stitchery, weaving, rug hooking, knitting) and painting. Her particular focus is colour. Brenda’s knowledge of quilt excellence has been deepened by assisting in the judging of several art and quilt shows. Participation in Quilt Canada, and Quilt Market, fuel her passion for research and implementation of both historic and cutting edge ideas and techniques.
Her goal is to nurture quilting through all life’s phases.
The Goal
Brenda will be updating this blog weekly, bringing new information, fabric lines, products, and musings to the readers and fans of Satin Moon.

Hi, Brenda. I’ve just found your blog and enjoyed reading it. Good to see that Satin Moon’s still going strong. I’m still quilting and writing and also travelling, as you can see in my blog. Best to you and the staff at SM. Ada M.
